We are growing and now seeking an experienced Warden Call Engineer to join our expanding team, working on high-profile projects across care homes, sheltered housing, and supported living schemes.

The Role

As a Warden Call Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault finding, and commissioning of warden call, telecare, and access control systems. You will work across a defined patch covering locations between Birmingham and London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and service warden call systems including Tunstall, Jontek, Courtney Thorne, and other manufacturer platforms.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out reactive and planned maintenance.
  • Commission systems and ensure full operational readiness.
  • Ensure work is completed to a high standard, in compliance with current regulations and client requirements.
  • Maintain clear records of all work via our job management system.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers when needed.
  • Participate in an on-call rota for emergency support.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience with warden call or telecare systems.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • ECS/CSCS card (or willing to obtain).
  • Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Desirable Experience

  • Knowledge of Tunstall / Jontek / Chubb / Aid Call / Courtney Thorne systems.
  • Experience with access control, nurse call, or fire alarm systems.
  • City & Guilds or equivalent electrical qualification.
