Small Works Contracts Manager
The role will involve managing the day-to-day operation of the small works function, coordinating engineers, managing workloads, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably. You will also act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of service and resolving any issues that arise.

- Manage and coordinate electrical small works projects from start to completion.
- Coordinate field engineers, scheduling, workloads, and resource allocation.
- Monitor job progress and ensure works are completed on time and to the required standard.
- Liaise with clients, providing updates and resolving any issues.
- Monitor budgets, performance and KPIs to ensure commercial targets are met.
- Review engineers' reports and identify/pricing remedial works.
- Monitor client portals and ensure all job and compliance information is kept up to date.
- Prepare reports and documentation relating to completed works.
- Ensure all works comply with health & safety requirements and industry standards.
- Support and develop engineers to maintain safe and productive working practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience managing electrical small works or similar service-based projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and building services.
- Experience coordinating engineers and managing multiple jobs simultaneously.
- Strong commercial and organisational skills.
- Confident dealing directly with clients and managing relationships.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and work to tight deadlines.
- Full UK driving licence.
