Your Role: Regional Business Development Manager
As a Regional Business Development Manager, you will take full ownership of business development activities across the Northwest region and Leeds. Your mission? Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Regional Sales Activity – Prospect, pitch, and close new business opportunities across a diverse customer base.
- Win New Clients – Use your waste industry expertise and consultative sales techniques to identify and convert high-potential leads.
- Account Expansion – Grow existing customer relationships, upsell services, and drive client retention through tailored solutions.
- Strategic Targeting – Identify key sectors and decision-makers within manufacturing, construction, logistics, retail, and more.
- Networking & Cold Outreach – Proactively engage the market through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, site visits, and events.
- Sales Pipeline Management – Accurately track all sales activity using a CRM system to forecast and report results.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally – Work closely with operations and service teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding and delivery.

- Excellent Communicator & Relationship Builder – Confident engaging with everyone from site managers to senior execs.
- Self-Starter with Strong Commercial Acumen – You take ownership, plan your pipeline, and execute with precision.
- Tech & CRM Fluent – Able to manage sales tools and reporting efficiently.
- Full UK Driving Licence – Required for regular client visits across the region.
