What You Will Do

Service & Maintenance

• Corrective and preventative maintenance across a wide range of fire and security systems
• Fault diagnosis and resolution — working efficiently to minimise client downtime
• Certification of serviced systems to the relevant British Standards (BS5839, BS EN 50131)
• Accurate completion of all service records, test sheets, and compliance documentation via our field management system
• We will occasionally have a requirement for some small installation work or simply to ‘muck in with the team’

 

Client & Site Management

• Maintaining customer relationships and consistently delivering a high standard of service
• Professional and effective communication with clients, service coordinators, and management
• Attending site meetings when required to support client relationships or project handovers
• Participating in the emergency call-out rota on a shared telephone-support basis

 

Operational

• Maintaining your company vehicle and van stock to meet client demands efficiently
• Compliance with all health and safety procedures — your own and your colleagues'
• Ensuring all administration requirements are met accurately and on time

 

Systems Experience Required

You must be able to demonstrate hands-on competence across the following platforms:
 

• CCTV — IP and analogue systems; Dahua and Hikvision platforms
• Access Control — Paxton, Comelit PAC
• Fire Alarms — addressable and conventional systems (BS5839 compliant) •    Intruder Alarms — Texecom, Honeywell Galaxy (BS EN 50131)

 

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm and security systems in a commercial environment
• Strong working knowledge of relevant industry standards and British Standards
• Sharp attention to detail — in your technical work and your paperwork
• Commercial awareness and the ability to manage your own workload effectively
• Clear and professional communication — with clients and colleagues alike
• Positive attitude and a practical, solutions-focused approach to fault-finding

Ability to pass BS7858 security vetting — required prior to start •             Full UK driving licence — essential
