Introduction:
We are seeking an experienced Electro/Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and installation of electrical systems and HVAC equipment in various commercial buildings, data centres, laboratories, retail spaces, and more. You will be covering the M25 area and surrounding regions, working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Key Responsibilities:
Service and maintain electrical systems, including HVAC equipment, in a variety of commercial buildings, data centres, laboratories, retail spaces, and other facilities within the M25 and surrounding areas.
Troubleshoot and carry out fault-finding on electrical systems and HVAC equipment.
Install new electrical systems for HVAC, lighting, and panels as required.
Work with electrical circuit diagrams and be able to produce simplified technical reports.
Ensure work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and company standards.
Build and maintain good customer relations through quality service and professionalism.
Liaise with the team to ensure smooth operation and timely completion of tasks.
Provide support and guidance to junior engineers as required.
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, ideally with a background in electro/mechanical systems.
Proficient in fault-finding, electrical systems maintenance, and HVAC equipment.
Strong knowledge of electrical circuit diagrams and controls.
Computer literate with the ability to create technical reports.
Must hold a Full UK driving licence.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong work ethic with the desire to grow within the company.
Able to work in the UK.
Desirable:
Test and inspection qualification (e.g. 2391 or equivalent).
Experience with commercial and industrial systems in diverse environments.
