Job Title: Asset Collector – Social Housing Contract (London, Public Transport-Based)

About the Role:

We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, trustworthy keen eye for detail to join our team as an Asset Collector. The job involves travelling around various social housing sites across London using public transport (which we’ll cover), gathering information on security and access systems.

These include:

• CCTV
• Door Entry Systems
• Access Control
• Warden Call Systems

You’ll be helping us build an accurate picture of what’s installed at each site, which supports future upgrades, maintenance, and planning.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Visit housing sites across London using public transport.
• Collect key details on the systems in place – model numbers, conditions, locations, photos, etc.
• Log this info using either a tablet or paper forms (depending on the site/setup).
• Work with onsite staff like caretakers or housing officers to access secure areas if needed.
• Spot and report any urgent issues or faults you come across.
• Follow health & safety procedures and always respect tenant privacy.

What We’re Looking For:

• Someone practical with a good eye for detail.
• Comfortable getting around London on public transport.
• Confident using a phone or tablet to take photos and record notes.
• Friendly and polite when dealing with staff and residents.
• Ideally some basic knowledge of CCTV, door entry, access control, or warden call systems – but we’re happy to train the right person.
